Stranger Things is the Netflix original series that has achieved a 100% rating from viewers and looks to be the Netflix series of the year. Today Netflix released Stranger Things virtual reality (VR). Like a mashup of the Goonies and the X-Files, Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), who lives in a small town in Indiana. Joyce’s 12-year-old son, Will, mysteriously vanishes, launching a terrifying search. During the two minute 360 clip, you will become Joyce, in the middle of dark a ghostly alien experience. Feel the hairs on your neck prick as lights spark, phones ring, and something is trying to communicate with you.
“Stranger Things is a uniquely atmospheric series that inspired us to create a fun way to immerse viewers in the rich world, allow them to experience the thrills and mystery of the story and excite them to watch the series.”
-VP of Product Innovation, David Jaffe
